Drugs, Shoplifting, Warrant Arrests Made In Clark

Clark Police arrested 4 people last week on a variety of charges including drug possession, shoplifting and having an outstanding warrant.

CLARK, NJ — Clark Police arrested four people last week on a variety of charges including drug possession, shoplifting and having an outstanding warrant.

Clark Police Blotter:

On Nov. 2 at 3:06 p.m.: In the vicinity of the Garden State Parkway northbound entrance ramp, police arrested Tariq Sinclair, 25, of Newark for possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS) and CDS paraphernalia. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Paul Sosnowski was the arresting officer.

On Nov. 3 at 4:14 a.m.: In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Shyasia Allen, 22, of East Orange for possession of CDS. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Joshua Weber was the arresting officer.

On Nov. 4 at 2:52 a.m.: In the vicinity of South Wood Avenue and 16th Avenue in Linden, police arrested
Tracy Brown, 50, of Linden for shoplifting merchandise, valued at $265, from the Shop-Rite Supermarket at 76 Central Ave. He was also charged with aggravated assault and eluding/resisting arrest. He was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Det. Alex Yanes was the arresting officer.

On Nov. 5 at 2:30 p.m.: At 875 Raritan Road, police arrested Dejour Egerton, 22, of East Orange on
outstanding warrants, totaling $1,700, from East Orange and Newark, New Jersey for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the East Orange Police Department. Police Officer Mark Detore was the arresting officer.
