Elizabeth Man Charged With Sharing Child Porn On Facebook: Cops
Henrique Rodrigues, 50, is charged with second- and third-degree counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
ELIZABETH, NJ — An Elizabeth man was charged with sharing and receiving images depicting child pornography using his personal Facebook account, acting Union County Prosecutor Lyndsay V. Ruotolo announced.

A tip prompted authorities to start an investigation which found that Rodrigues shared images depicting child pornography using his personal Facebook account, Ruotolo said.

He reportedly sent and received files to and from an unknown number of users, including two people suspected to be juvenile females living overseas, Ruotolo said.
On Friday, members of the Cyber Crime Task Force, with help of members of the Opioid Task Force, searched Rodrigues’s apartment on the 600 block of Adams Avenue in Elizabeth and found numerous pieces of electronic equipment, to examine further.

Rodrigues was sent to Union County Jail pending a first appearance scheduled to take place on Jan. 3, 2020.
He faces 5 to 10 years in state prison on the second-degree criminal charges.
