The High School Proficiency Assessment (HSPA) testing for all juniors will take place on March 1, 2, and 3. Juniors should arrive at the normal 7:50 a.m. time and should proceed directly to their assigned testing room. Once testing is completed for the day, students will follow an abbreviated schedule for the remainder of the day. The modified schedule will be posted on the website and around the school. Lunch will be served on all three days for all students and there will be no adjustments to the bus schedule.
Freshmen and sophomore students should arrive at 7:50 a.m. These students will participate in various activities on these days. For example, guidance will conduct a career information program, freshmen will have a biology review session and sophomores will participate in a texting while driving awareness program. More specific information will follow, including reporting locations. Students will follow an abbreviated schedule for the remainder of the day once HSPA testing for juniors is completed. Vocational school students will follow their normal schedule for these days.
Seniors should arrive at school at 10:00 a.m. each of the testing dates and enter by the lower gym. Students will be instructed where to proceed when they arrive. There will be programs for the seniors until testing is complete and they will follow the adjusted schedule for the remainder of the day. Seniors who attend afternoon vocational school should arrive at 10:00 a.m. and morning vocational students should follow their normal schedule.
