Join local residents Dr. Hope Blecher-Sass and Ms. Maryellen Moffitt as they share their collaborative approach to writing based upon their first hand experience as authors of See It, Be It, Write It: Using Performing Arts to Improve Writing and Test Scores.
Hope and Maryellen will talk about the cross-curricular teaching approach, the behind the scenes elements of writing a book, and the various ways they worked with a publisher.
They will also have copies of the book available and answer questions about infusing the performing arts into classrooms. Light refreshments will be provided.
