Trailside Preschool Program: Fishy Swishy

Trailside's Preschool programs incorporate sensory hikes to acquaint adults and children with the natural world.

Adult with child/children up to three years of age. Older children will not be permitted to attend.  A baby carrier or sling are recommended; strollers are not recommended due to uneven terrain outdoors. 

Participants must pre-register.

Fishy Swishy: Fish live in water and use fins to swim.  Fish have mouths that open and close, pretty scales cover their bodies and tails that swish to help them move.  Participants will visit Trailside’s wetland habitats to watch live fish swim about and make a fish print to take home.

Dress for outdoors.

Cost: $8/family in county;  $10/family out of county.
