LINDEN, NJ — Lenny Dykstra, the ex-Mets and Phillies star, has found himself in hot water yet again: This time for illegally renting rooms in a Linden home that his corporation owns, as well as violating city housing codes, according to nj.com.

Dykstra admitted to using the one-family home on Stockton Circle, owned by his company Titan Equity Group, as a rooming house in Linden Municipal Court on Tuesday.

He had been issued five housing and zoning violations, but the prosecutor agreed to dismiss one remaining violation and reduce fines on some of the others. He also must pay about $3,000 in fines, Dykstra’s attorney, Joseph Rutala told nj.com.

The code violations stemmed after residents on the street made complaints about there being piles of garbage, fights and people coming and going at all hours out of the home. Linden City Councilwoman Gretchen Hickey also accused Dykstra of renting out rooms in his house for $1,000 each, which is a violation of municipal ordinances, according to nj.com.

This isn't the first instance of trouble for Dykstra since moving to New Jersey. He was arrested on May 23 after running into trouble with an Uber driver, and he also faces drug charges connected to the incident.
