Krausers Store Clerk Seriously Injured In Linden Armed Robbery

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man with dark hair, about 5'10" wearing khaki or brown pants, police report.

LINDEN, NJ — A Krausers store clerk has been seriously injured following an armed robbery in Linden on Tuesday afternoon.

The armed robbery occurred at around 3:15 p.m. at the Krausers store on the 1100 block of S. Wood Avenue in Linden, Linden Police Lt. Christopher Guenther says.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man with dark hair, about 5'10" wearing khaki or brown pants and was last seen in the area of W. 12th Street and Winans Avenue, Guenther said.

The store clerk was transported to Newark University Hospital with serious injuries, Guenther said.

The incident remains under investigation by the Linden Police Detective Bureau. Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Matt Jones at 908-474-8556.
