Poolside Stories for Preschoolers at the Clark Pool
Five things you need to know today, Wednesday, June 29.

- Clark Pool members, take a break from the water with your little ones from 3:30 to 4:00 p.m. for today. Join Clark Library staff for kiddie stories and songs with a water theme. This free program, open to pool members and their guests only, is geared toward preschoolers with their adult companions, but all are welcome to participate.
- The will hold its final meeting before breaking for the summer today from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Polish Cultural Foundation. Weekly meetings will resume in September.
- The Clark Library’s free Wednesday Afternoon Movie today will be the multiple-Academy Award winning movie , playing at 1 p.m. This Colin Firth flick about the Royal Monarch’s quest to find his voice received the Academy’s Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Director and Best Original Screenplay awards. Today’s movie screening is free and open to all.
- The American Red Cross has announced that it is now accepting applications for local youth . Students learn to supervise children and infants and gain the confidence to make smart decisions and stay safe in any babysitting situation.
