The same storm swamped several other North Jersey highways, but Clifton drivers face immediate detours and delays as officials work to reopen this key corridor through the city.

• Not Quite a Clean Getaway: Two Riders Arrested in Separate Clifton Incidents (thecliftontimes.com) — Clifton readers should know that police recently arrested two motorcycle riders after separate incidents involving allegedly reckless groups on local streets, including near Crooks and Getty avenues and by Lakeview and Clifton avenues. Officers say one rider crashed while fleeing a traffic stop and another was caught after a foot chase near the Aldi parking lot, with both facing multiple charges and summonses.
