The suit challenges a mid-career change to retiree medical benefits and describes a broader pattern of internal conflict, adding to multiple pending lawsuits from other former top Clifton officials.
   

• SBA Advances 10 Firms in $1 Million Patriot Pitch Contest (mychesco.com subscription) — A Clifton-based company, Better Team USA Corp., has been named one of ten semifinalists in the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Patriot Pitch Competition, edging closer to a share of $1 million in prize money. The firm advanced from more than 1,100 applicants nationwide and will now compete for a spot in the September finals in Washington, D.C., where top prizes range up to $400,000.
