Another Couple of Weeks on PATCO From the Voices of Riders

PATCO riders reported mixed experiences during the last couple of weeks, including an act of kindness to an elderly passenger and jolting rides.

Hi all,

This is Andy Sharpe at the Delaware Valley Association of Rail Passengers (DVARP) again. This is the third installment of our blog straight from regular PATCO riders. Their experiences (in their own words) are below.

Jeff Lyons (Saturday, 9/29): "Nothing to complain about on PATCO this week. It's nice to go a whole week without whining."

Mark Heston (Wednesday, 10/3): " Also saw an act of kindness.....an elderly women got on at Camden.....the train was full....a middle aged lady got up and offered her seat to the elderly women......the lady that gave up her seat got off at the next stop.....The elderly lady then told the next person that sat next to her how nice the person was before to let her have a seat"

MH (Friday, 10/5): "Found a seat right away. Pretty quiet car. Conductor announced all stops. Wicked not smooth ride."
