Collingswood Commissioner Candidate Hugh McGuire's First Blog

I'm Hugh McGuire, and yes, I am running for Collingswood commissioner. I am writing this blog to familiarize you, the Collingswood voter, with who I am, what I am about and why I running for the Collingswood Commissioners office.

Here is what to expect.

We are about four weeks out from the May 14 commissioner election. There are three commissioner spots that are open; you'll have three votes to cast. We the voters elect the commissioners and the commissioners choose the mayor. It will be a close race so it is important that you, the voter, get out there and get the information you need to make a good choice for our town. Make sure you get to the polls on Tuesday, May 14! Your vote will count!

I expect to be blogging two times a week; it is really important that you comment on the blog.

I've been out knocking on doors for the past few weeks. It has been an enlightening experience. I would like the opportunity to talk with every person in town, to get your views on what you think should be done. I won't be to reach every door over the next few weeks, so you are going to have to help me.
