Cool for the First Full Week of Spring

A coastal storm will impact the Delaware Valley on Monday. Find out if we will see snow, rain, or both in the PatchCast for March 25-31.

Another coastal storm will be impacting our weather on Monday. We may see some snow in the morning, but as temperatures rise through the 30s, precipitation will transition over to mainly rain by Monday afternoon. It will be a downright raw and damp day for late March standards.

On Monday evening, the precipitation may changeover to a brief period of snow before ending after midnight. Throughout the whole event, I'm only expecting a coating to an inch of snow in South Jersey. The elevated areas north and west of Philadelphia have the potential to receive a few inches.

The coastal storm will be out of our area by Tuesday, but a weak disturbance could spawn a brief rain or snow shower. Expect a mix of sun and clouds otherwise, with temperatures nearly 10 degrees warmer than Monday.

High pressure will take over for second half of the week, bringing us a mix of sun and clouds and a gradual increase in temperature each day. By Good Friday we should finally break 50 degrees.

For the weekend, as of now, Saturday looks unsettled with a chance for showers. Easter Sunday looks dry with a mix of sun and clouds. High temperatures both days will rise into the low 50s. Although this will feel mild after the cooler temperatures all week, we should be in the mid to upper 50s this time of year.
