Feeling More Pleasant This Week

Is there anymore heat in the forecast, or was last week the end of it for a while? Find out in your PatchCast for the week of June 24th through June 30th.

This week will certainly feel much more pleasant than last week's heat, at least until the end of the week. It will start off stormy but gradually get brighter each day through Thursday. The heat will return by Friday and Saturday along with the chance for thunderstorms.

Today, June 24th, will start off with sunshine but clouds will fill the sky as we move through the day. Late in the day, thunderstorms will begin to move in from the west in advance of a cold front that will move through tonight. These storms will continue on and off through the night and into the early morning hours of Monday, June 25th. The high temperature today will be in the mid-80s.

After the cold frontal passage, Monday, June 25th, will be cooler with a high around 80 degrees. Some early storms are possible and then a mix of sun and clouds is expected. In between the cold front and approaching high pressure system from the west, Tuesday, June 26th, will feature a mix of sun and clouds with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm. The high temperature will be near 80 degrees. High pressure will work its way in for Wednesday, June 27th, and Thursday, June 28th. Skies will be mostly sunny and highs will be in the lower to mid-80s.
