Mild Start to April Before Turning Cooler
Will the first week of April feel like spring? Find out in the PatchCast for April 1-7.

We enjoyed a mild Easter Sunday at 59 degrees, and we will get one more mild day Monday to begin the month of April. We should manage 59 degrees again Monday before a secondary cold front moves through the region and spawns a few showers. Not everyone is going to get wet, but a few of us will, so you may want to take your umbrella just to be safe. Also, winds will pick up this afternoon, so keep that in mind. Much cooler weather will arrive tonight as lows dip into the low 30s.
We should have a dry day on Tuesday, but you will definitely feel the difference in temperature when you step outside. High temperatures will only manage 45 to 50 degrees, and with a breeze it will feel even cooler than that. Wednesday will be very similar to Tuesday.
Thursday will feature temperatures back into the 50s, but a low pressure system will be moving into our area from the south by Friday. Consequently, expect a rainy and windy day on Friday.

The weekend, as of now, looks warmer with temperatures near or above 60 both days. We'll enjoy sunshine on Saturday, but a few showers are possible on Sunday. Sunday will not be a wash-out by any means, so definitely don't cancel any outdoor plans.
