Patch 5-Day Forecast: a Rainy Beginning to the Week
When will our weather dry out? Find out in the PatchCast for Feb. 11-17.

An area of low pressure is going to yield a rainy beginning to the week in the Delaware Valley. Take that umbrella with you as you head out to work and school in the morning, and don't forget to bring it back home with you because it will still be raining in the late afternoon and evening hours. On the plus side, it is going to be a milder day with highs in the low 50s.
High pressure will set up on Tuesday and Wednesday and keep the weather dry both days. The next weather system I am watching is another area of low pressure that will track close to our region Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Some computer-model guidance suggests that it could bring us some rain and snow showers during this period, but other guidance keeps us dry. We'll keep an eye on it for you on Phillyweather.net.
Friday will be a pleasant day with high pressure in control. If I had to pick one day to be the nicest weather day of the week, it would be Friday, as temperatures rise into the low 50s with sunshine.

Right now, the weekend looks a bit unsettled. A cold front could bring us a few snow showers on Saturday. Sunday will be colder behind the front with another snow shower or two possible.
