Patch 5-Day Forecast: A Stormy Week Ahead
When will the rain arrive and when will it finally get out of here? Find out in the PatchCast for December 17th through 23rd.

A series of low pressure systems will move through the Delaware Valley this week, causing an unsettled, stormy week. Today, Dec. 17, will feature plenty of clouds along with patchy fog and areas of drizzle. Steadier rain will move in late this afternoon or early this evening, associated with our first low pressure system of the week. On the plus side, temperatures will be rather mild in the mid 50s.
As that low pressure system slowly exits the region, a few showers will be leftover on Tuesday, Dec. 18. Otherwise, it will be a breezy and mild day with temperatures making a run at 60 degrees!
Weak high pressure will take over on Wednesday, Dec. 19. This will likely be the best weather day of the week since it will be completely dry. However, it will be cooler and breezy with a high around 50.

An upper level low will head toward our area on Thursday, Dec. 20. However, as of now, it looks like it won't arrive until late in the day. We'll likely see a mix of sun and clouds for most of the day before the rain arrives. The high temperature will be near 55.
Behind that low, temperatures will turn much colder. Rain will end early on Friday, Dec. 21, and then look for a mix of sun and clouds. However, it will be windy with a high only 40-45!

It will be a chilly weekend with a snow shower or flurry not out of the question either day. Saturday, Dec. 22, looks quite windy with a high in the low 40s. Sunday, Dec. 23, will still be breezy with a high again in the low 40s.
