Lice outbreaks seem to coincide with the return to school after breaks. This may be due to families traveling and interacting with friends and relatives from other places. Cousins love to share head lice! Visiting foreign countries or getting those little braids on the beach can also contribute to the problem. The next thing you know, the kids are back in the classroom and scratching their heads...
It is our experience that kids can share head lice with each other if they share helmets. Be prepared ! Each child should have their own batting and bike helmets.
