Summer-Like Weather This Week
How warm will it be this week? Find out in the PatchCast for May 20-26.

If you've noticed an increase in humidity, it is because a warm front has moved through the area. This warm, humid air mass will remain over us for most of the week, so it will feel more like summer than spring out there.
Along with warmth and humidity usually comes shower and thunderstorm chances, due to instability in the atmosphere. This week will be no exception. Monday will feature mostly cloudy skies with scattered thunderstorms. It won't rain all day, but taking the umbrella with you may be a good idea in case you get stuck in one of those storms.
Tuesday will be a little brighter, a little more humid, and a little warmer. Scattered thunderstorm chances will continue, but again, it will not rain all day. By Wednesday, we could potentially be dealing with the warmest day of the year so far with highs exceeding 85 with more thunderstorm chances.

Thursday will be slightly less humid but it'll still be warm. Be prepared for more scattered thunderstorms. On Friday, look for early showers or thunderstorms, but by the afternoon skies should brighten up. Friday will be a cooler and less humid day, with temperatures right around where they should be this time of year.
As of now, Memorial Day Weekend looks great with sun, a few clouds, and beautiful temperatures in the low 70s! Be sure to check in with Phillyweather.net throughout the week for updated forecasts.
