Warm Start, Turning Cooler This Week

How long will these warm temperatures last? Find out in the PatchCast for November 12—18.

With a warm southerly breeze, temperatures will rise into the mid- to upper 60s today, November 12. If you enjoyed yesterday, today will be very similar, so hopefully you'll be able to step outside on your lunch break and get some fresh air. However, sun will be giving way to increasing clouds as a cold front approaches from the west.

The cold front will move through tonight, so expect showers overnight and into Tuesday, November 13. Much colder air will move in behind the front, so temperatures may start off in the low 50s Tuesday morning, but we'll finish the day in the 40s! Showers should taper off late in the day.

High pressure will buld in on Wednesday, November 14. Skies will be mostly sunny, but it will be a chilly day with a high in the upper 40s.

Remaining under high pressure, Thursday, November 15, will remain dry with a mix of sun and clouds. It will be a touch milder, but still cool, with a high in the low 50s.

High pressure will stay over the region for Friday, November 16. Consequently, another dry but cool day is expected with a mix of sun and clouds. The high temperature will be in the low 50s.

As of now, the upcoming weekend looks great! Saturday, November 17, will be mostly sunny and seasonable with a high of 55. Sunday, November 18, will also be mostly sunny with a high around 55.

Enjoy the warmth today because it will likely be the last of it for the season. Be sure to check in with Phillyweather.net throughout the week for updated forecasts!
