Charm Debuts Fall Fashions on Haddon Avenue

Charm boutique's annual fashion show had heads turning on Haddon Avenue Saturday evening.

As dusk settled onto Haddon Avenue Saturday evening, models brandishing the latest fall fashions from boutique lit up downtown Collingswood.

Three models turned a portion of the street, at the corner of Collings and Haddon avenues, into a catwalk, parading some of Charm's best new fall ensembles—their wardrobes complete with jewelry, handbags and accessories from the shop.

Dawn Burke-Sena, who owns the boutique, said Saturday's event served as a kick-off to this season's autumn attire.

"Fall fashions are fabulous at Charm," said Burke-Sena during the fashion show.

Louann Grussenmeyer, a Westmont resident whose 16-year-old daughter Alexa modeled in the show, said the event was enjoyable for onlookers and participants alike.

"I'm so excited and proud of her," Grussenmeyer said of her daughter. "Because she's not afraid to do anything. Alexa and all the girls will be excellent tonight."
