COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — One of two women who were killed in their Collingswood home over the weekend leaves behind two sons, according to an online fundraiser. Alysia McCloskey, 41, and Colleen Brownell, 48, were fatally stabbed in their home on Saturday, Dec. 30. Mark Lyczak, 44, of Medford, has been arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder in their deaths, as well as one count of first-degree attempted murder of a third victim.

“Anyone who knew Alysia knows her children were her life, love, and whole heart,” The Alysia McCloskey Family Fund GoFundMe post reads. “To assist in future expenses for her children, we are asking for your genorosity, in whatever amount you are able. All donations will be made available to Zack and Riley McCloskey for expenses of necessity and educational purposes.”

As of Tuesday morning, the page had raised just over $4,000 for the orphaned children. To make a donation, click here.

Lyczak was arrested and taken to the Collingswood Police Department, where he was charged, according to the prosecutor's office.

He was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility pending a pretrial detention hearing. Under recent Criminal Justice Reform rules, the court may order he be detained or released with conditions. A hearing date had not been set as of Tuesday morning. No further information on the case was available Tuesday morning.

Brownell and Lyczak were dating, but Brownell left him when he became overbearing and was preparing to move out of state, friends told njpen.com. The third victim is reportedly Lyczak's current girlfriend. Brownell had recently moved in with McCloskey.

There were numerous tributes on Brownell’s personal Facebook page expressing total shock at her death, and saying how much she will be missed. Her last post came on the morning of Christmas Eve. It depicts her on the couch with her two dogs and reads, “Seriously! How did I get so lucky?”
