DOT Shutting Delsea Drive Ramps to 295 Next Week

The overnight on- and off-ramp closures are part of the ongoing repaving project on Route 295.

Drivers who use Route 295–especially at night–will need to keep an eye out for ramp closures in Gloucester and Camden counties next week.

The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) announced they’d be periodically shutting on- and off-ramps to accommodate the ongoing Route 295 resurfacing.

  • On Monday, May 23, NJDOT will close the Delsea Drive southbound ramp to 295 northbound in Westville overnight for milling and paving. Drivers going south on Delsea Drive to get to 295 northbound will have to go over 295 and take Tacoma Boulevard to North Evergreen Avenue to Broadway to 295.
  • On Tuesday, May 24, NJDOT will close the Delsea Drive northbound ramp to 295 northbound in Westville overnight for milling and paving. Drives going north on Delsea Drive to get to 295 northbound will have to go over 295 and take Olive Street to Broadway to 295 northbound.
  • On Wednesday, May 25, NJDOT is scheduled to close the 295 southbound Exits 25A and 25B ramps to Delsea Drive in Westville overnight for milling and paving. Drivers destined for Delsea Drive in either direction will continue to Exit 24B to Broadway northbound to Olive Street to Delsea Drive.
  • Then, on or about May 31, NJDOT is scheduled to close the Route 42 southbound ramp to 295 southbound in Bellmawr for approximately four nights to perform milling and paving operations. Drivers on Route 42 southbound will be directed to Exit 14 for Creek Road/Leaf Avenue to Route 42 northbound to 295 northbound to Exit 28, the Black Horse Pike interchange, to 295 southbound.

All work is weather-dependent.
