"The Adventures of Pinocchio"

On Friday, April 27^th and Saturday, April 28^th, 2012, the Collingswood Youth Theatre, sponsored by the Collingswood Recreation Department, will present “The Adventures of Pinocchio” at the middle school’s auditorium, 414 Collings Avenue in Collingswood. The show times are 7:30pm each evening with a 1:00pm matinee on Saturday, April 28^th. Tickets are $6.00 and will be available at the door.

“The Adventures of Pinocchio” was written by Collingswood resident Jack Jeckot and contains his original music. The show is based on the classic story of “Pinocchio” by Carlo Collodi. Many of your favorite characters plus a few new ones make an appearance. Travel with us from Geppetto’s workshop to the Puppet Theatre, the Land of the Busy Bees, and the Land of Toys. Pinocchio’s adventures include being swallowed by a whale! Come find out if Pinocchio finally gets his wish to be “A Real Boy”.

So bring the entire family to see our entertaining actors from grades 2-6 sing and dance in this two-act children’s musical during the last weekend in April!
