  • Earlville, New York—76,071 votes

While these towns have seen far more votes than Collingswood has so far, it doesn't mean they'll earn the title.

Reader's Digest is allowing users to vote as many times as they please.

Skeptical? Just last year, Grand Marais, MI—a municipality with a population of just 300—took the title of best town in America.

Each year, a winning town receives funding for use in its municipality.

"Last year, Collingswood was the top town in New Jersey, and a top 100 town in the United States of America, but we need all the votes we can get to win money for a a project to make Collingswood even better," said borough officials of the contest. "Vote for Collingswood an unlimited number of times a day. With a population of (more than) 14,000, we can win some serious cash for civic initiatives, and be part of Reader’s Digest’s annual Best of America issue in May (of 2012)."

So visit the site, and let's prove Collingswood's worth once and for all!
