2 Arrested For DWI In Cranford

CRANFORD, NJ — Cranford Police report arrested two people for driving while intoxicated around the July 4th holiday.

On July 4 at 12:25 a.m.: Police units were dispatched to the 300 block of North Avenue East for a suspicious vehicle. Following an investigation at the scene, Patrolman Timothy Handy arrested the driver, Joseph Grano, 44, Union for driving while intoxicated. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, processed and provided with a municipal court appearance date. In addition, he was issued a motor vehicle summons for careless driving.
