2 Cranford Locals Arrested For Credit Card Fraud In Clark

2 Cranford locals were arrested last week for unlawful use of credit cards and theft by deception in Clark, police report.

CLARK, NJ — A total of two Cranford locals were arrested last week for unlawful use of credit cards and theft by deception in Clark, Clark police report.

Clark Police Blotter:

On Dec. 5 at 12:03 p.m.: In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Aaron Coleman, 18, of Metuchen for possession of controlled dangerous substance (CDS) paraphernalia. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Sergio D’Andrea was the arresting officer.

On Dec. 5 at 7:39 p.m.: At 12 Brentwood Road, police arrested Alexander DeOliveira, 22, of Clark for possession of CDS paraphernalia. Also arrested was Anthony McGrath, 19, of Clark for possession of CDS. Both men were subsequently released on their own recognizance pending court dates. Police Officer Michael DeAngelo was the arresting officer.

On Dec. 6 at 5:30 p.m.: At Headquarters, police arrested Kollin Herrera, 20, of Clark for simple assault. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Detective Brandon Pitts was the arresting officer.

On Dec. 7 at 9:32 p.m.: In the vicinity of Springfield Avenue in Cranford, police arrested Ruben Santos, 28, of Union for unlawful use of credit cards and theft by deception. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Bruce McDonald was the arresting officer.

On Dec. 7 at 9:32 a.m.: In the vicinity of Kent Place in Cranford, police arrested Denice Tortorello, 60, of Cranford for unlawful use of credit cards and theft by deception. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Detective Alex Yanes was the arresting officer.

On Dec. 7 at 11:13 p.m.: In the vicinity of Brant Avenue, police arrested Sandra Sanchez, 31, of Elizabeth for possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Police OfficerJoshua Weber was the arresting officer.

On Dec. 9 at 2:13 a.m.: In the vicinity of Raritan Road, police arrested Kevin Vivenzio, 25, of Clark for DUI.
He was subsequently released pending a court date. Police Officer Brad Dustin was the Arresting Officer.

On Dec. 9 at 2:26 p.m.: Police took a report of a theft of items from a patron at L.A. Fitness at 1255 Raritan Road. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Mazhar Elwardany was the investigating officer.

On Dec. 9 at 7:11 p.m.: Police arrested Pablo Cardona, 27, of Kenilworth and Lisa Miller, 29, of Kenilworth for shoplifting merchandise valued at $159.64 from the Shop-Rite Supermarket at 76 Central Ave. Both individuals were subsequently released on their own recognizance pending court dates. Police Officer Michael Somma was the arresting officer.

On Dec. 9 at 7:50 p.m.: Police took a report of a theft of a wallet from an unsecured locker at L.A. Fitness at 1255 Raritan Road. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Brad Dustin was the investigating officer.

On Dec. 10 at 4:03 p.m.: In the vicinity of Lower Road in Linden, New Jersey police arrested Alsemaj Covington, 23, of Irvington for eluding, criminal mischief, possession of CDS and possession of stolen property. He was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Police Officer Pedro Oliveira was the arresting officer.
