2 Cranford Women Hit By Car While In Crosswalk, Hospitalized
Breaking: Both women were transported to an area hospital for injuries as a result, Cranford Police report.

CRANFORD, NJ — Two Cranford women were hit by a car while using a crosswalk and sent to the hospital on Tuesday night, police report.
The two 23-year-old pedestrians were at the intersection of Miln Street and W. North Avenue in Cranford on March 28 at 6:40 p.m. when they were hit by a car, police report.
The women were using the crosswalk when they were hit by a 2007 Dodge driven by a 21-year-old Newark man.

Both women were transported to an area hospital. One of the women was being treated for minor abrasions. The second woman suffered a head injury, is in stable condition, and being held for observations.
The driver of the car was issued a motor vehicle summons for failing to yield to a pedestrian.

The incident is currently being followed up by the Cranford Police Department Traffic Division.
