4 Cranford Teens Arrested For Drugs In Clark

Clark police made 12 drug-related arrests in the township last week, according to the police blotter.

CLARK, NJ — Clark police made 12 drug-related arrests in the township last week, according to the police blotter.

Clark Police Blotter:

On Aug. 21 at 10 p.m.: At 1571 Raritan Road, police arrested Zachary Gesslein, 18, of Cranford for controlled dangerous substance(CDS) paraphernalia. Also arrested were Peter Pashalides, 18, of Cranford, John Michael Rato, 18, of Cranford and Daniel Stryker, 18, of Cranford; all for possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia. All individuals were subsequently released on their own recognizance pending court dates. Police Officer Ronny Taborda was the arresting officer.

On Aug. 22 at 8:09 a.m.: At 1255 Raritan Road, police arrested Laye Kamara, 21, of Newark and Ibrahim Kone, 23, of Newark for theft, conspiracy and possession of CDS. Both individuals were subsequently released on their own recognizance pending court dates. Police Officer Michael DeAngelo was the arresting oficer.

On Aug. 23 at 10:59 a.m.: At headquarters, police arrested Travis Moore, 37, of Mount Holly for contempt of court. He was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Police Officer Mark Detore was the arresting officer.

On Aug. 23 at 12:50 p.m.: At headquarters, police arrested Vasilios Elzahr, 39, of Elizabeth for contempt of court. He was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Det. Brian Pereira was the arresting officer.

On Aug. 23 at 1:36 p.m.: In the vicinity of Valley Road, police arrested Darren Lexine, 18, of Union on outstanding warrants, totaling $1,089, from Union for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the Union Police Department. Police Officer Paul Sosnowski was the arresting officer.

On Aug. 24 at 12:27 a.m.: In the vicinity of Brant and Westfield Avenues, police arrested Danielle Staunton, 31, of Colonia for possession of CDS paraphernalia. She was subsequently released on her own
recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Bruce McDonald was the arresting officer.

On Aug. 25 at 5:38 a.m.: In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Collin Dennis, 23, of East
Orange for possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Sgt. Christopher Tuccio was the arresting officer.

On Aug. 25 at 3:49 p.m.: Police took a report of a theft of an item from a locker at L.A. Fitness at 1255
Raritan Road. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Michael Hernandez was the investigating officer.

On Aug. 26 at 11:41 p.m.: In the vicinity of Brant and Westfield Avenues, police arrested Mark Anthony,
25, of Newark for possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Bruce McDonald was the arresting officer.

On Aug. 27 at 1:47 a.m.: In the vicinity of Brant Avenue, police arrested Troy Hansford, 39, of Clifton for possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Sgt. Christopher Tuccio was the arresting officer.

On Aug. 27 at 2:20 a.m.: In the vicinity of Valley Road, police arrested Michael Hunter, 43, of Hillside for DUI. He was subsequently released pending a court date. Sgt. Christian Lott was the arresting officer.

On Aug. 27 at 9:56 a.m.: Police took a report of a theft of a wallet from an unsecured vehicle that was parked at 1255 Raritan Road. The incident is under investigation. Det. Alex Yanes was the investigating officer.

On Aug. 27 at 4:17 p.m.: Police took a report of a theft of a wallet from an unsecured vehicle that was parked at 76 Central Avenue. The incident is under investigation. Det. Alex Yanes was the investigating officer.

On Aug. 28 at 8:20 p.m.: In the vicinity of Gibson Boulevard, police arrested Sharif Artis, 37, of Paterson and Milagros Santiago, 40, of Haledon for possession of CDS. Artis was also detained on an outstanding warrant from Haledon in the amount of $1,000 for contempt of court. Both individuals were released pending court dates on the Clark charges and Artis was subsequently turned over to the Haledon Police Department on their warrant. Police Officer Michael Ciaccio was the Arresting Officer.
