7 Arrested For Heroin, Marijuana In Cranford

CRANFORD, NJ — A total of 7 people for drug possession charges including heroin and marijuana in Cranford, police report.
Cranford Police Blotter:
On Jan. 23 at 10:46 a.m.: A 2016 Dodge was stopped at the intersection of Centennial Avenue and Raritan Road for failing to maintain lane. Following an investigation at the scene, Ptl. Robert Jordan located heroin inside the vehicle. The driver, Myron English, 40, of Perth Amboy and a passenger, Dorthy Garulle, 45, of Hamilton were arrested for Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance (Heroin) and Possession of Paraphernalia, processed, and released pending a Superior Court Appearance. English was also issued motor vehicle summonses for failing to maintain lane, failure to wear a seatbelt, driving while suspended, and possessing a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.

On Jan. 24 at 8:44 p.m.: A 2012 Honda was stopped at the intersection of Elizabeth Avenue and E. North Avenue for careless driving. Following an investigation at the scene, Ptl. Ryan Gerrity determined that the driver, Susan Lane-Bosco was driving while intoxicated. Lane-Bosco was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, processed, and released to a friend pending a Municipal Court Appearance. Lane-Bosco was issued motor vehicle summonses for driving while intoxicated, careless driving, unsafe lane change, improper turn, and improper use of a divided highway.
On Jan. 26 at 12:33 a.m.: A 2014 Chrysler was stopped at the intersection of Raritan Road and Moen Avenue for a traffic signal violation. Following an investigation at the scene, Ptl. Federici located suspected MDMA and marijuana inside the vehicle. The driver, Spencer Hubbard, 22, of Tinton Falls was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance(MDMA); Possession of Marijuana(under 50g); and Possession of Paraphernalia, processed, and released pending a Superior Court Appearance. Hubbard was also issued motor vehicle summonses for failure to observe a traffic signal, and possessing a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.

On Jan. 23 at 12:49 a.m.: A 2007 Honda was stopped on the Garden State Parkway exit 136 NorthBound Ramp for an equipment violation. Following an investigation at the scene, Ptl. Timothy Handy located marijuana inside the vehicle. The driver, Chad Brown, 21, of Orange originally provided Ptl. Handy with a false name. Brown was arrested for Possession of Marijuana (under 50g); Possession of Paraphernalia; Hindering Apprehension; and Contempt of Court, processed, and released pending a Municipal Court Appearance. A passenger, Yaseen Salih, 20, of East Orange was also arrested when it was discovered he had active traffic warrants. Salih was released after posting bail. Additionally, Brown was issued motor vehicle summonses for failing to maintain lamps, driving while suspended, and having a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.
On Jan. 26 at 11:30 p.m.: A 2010 Toyota was stopped at the intersection of Jackson Drive and Moen Street for a seatbelt violation. Following an investigation at the scene, Ptl. Gregory Federici located heroin which belonged to a passenger, Rachel Cordova, 26, of Milltown. The driver, Christopher Day, 26, of Chelsea, MAwas found to be in possession of marijuana. Cordova and Day were arrested for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance(Heroin); Possession of Marijuana(under 50g); and Possession of Paraphernalia, processed, and released pending a Superior Court Appearance in Union County. Cordova was issued a motor vehicle summons for failure to wear a seat belt. Day was issued a motor vehicle summons for possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.
On Jan. 26 at 6:38 p.m.: A 2000 Ford was stopped at the intersection of Raritan Road and Coleman Avenue for an equipment violation. Following an investigation at the scene, Ptl. Gregory Federici located heroin on the driver, Neil Ziesemer-Flynn, 28, of Linden. Ziesemer-Flynn was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance(Heroin); and Possession of Paraphernalia, processed, and released pending a Superior Court Appearance. Ziesemer-Flynn was also issued motor vehicle summonses for unclear plates, failure to maintain lamps, driving while suspended, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.
On Jan. 28 at 5:08 p.m.: Patrol Units responded to a W. South Avenue establishment on a reported Shoplifting. Following an investigation at the scene, Ptl. Nadia Jones arrested Alicia Riddick, 50, of North Plainfield after she was found to be in possession of stolen items. Riddick was transported to Cranford Police Headquarters, where she was processed for Shoplifting and released pending a Municipal Court Appearance.
