American Specialty Plumbing, Heating and Air Becomes Good Tidings

Clark, NJ (April 2013) –American Specialty Plumbing, Heating and Air today announced that it has completed its company name change to Good Tidings. This change is part of a larger rebranding effort to more closely align with the company’s vision and values.

Owner and founder, David McKenna, was inspired to change the firm’s name based on a passage from the Bible, Isaiah 40:9-11: O Zion, that bringest Good Tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God! Good Tidings, according to McKenna, represents the company’s commitment to biblical family values and integrity. Since its launch, the new name has been well received by both customers and members of the community alike.

Critical to the rebranding, Good Tidings developed a new orange and teal logo featuring a highly recognizable blue butterfly that symbolizes transformation. Mr. McKenna also instituted a set of core values designed to serve as a guide for company conduct. Each of the ten values—trust, respect, character, honesty, faith, loyalty, integrity, commitment, willingness and positivity—were established and agreed upon by the company’s employees through a series of rigorous brainstorming sessions. The values now reside on a butterfly shaped plaque, which hangs in the foyer of their home office in Clark, NJ.

He adds, “Good Tidings excels and lives by the Golden Rule.
