Astronomy Day at Trailside
Come meet members of Amateur Astronomers, Inc. as we celebrate Astronomy Day at Trailside Saturday afternoon and evening, April 21. All activities are free and there is plenty of free parking.
The members of Amateur Astronomers, Inc. are celebrating Astronomy Day at the Trailside Nature and Science Center in Mountainside this Saturday, April 21. The event kicks off at 1 p.m. with viewing the Sun safely through one of AAI's portable telescopes and in a special-purpose projection box.
The weather forecast looks pretty good for the afternoon's solar observations, and we're hoping the clouds hold off long enough for us to do the planned evening star party. The indoor programs including lectures, raffle drawing, and children's activities will go on regardless of the weather.
