We will be opening Cranford NhN program almost exactly one year from when i landed my job at A&P. I had started up NhN in January 27, 2011, in River Edge Library and one of the tips I picked up the second week, was how to use LinkedIn for networking, I put that tip to use and three months later I had a Job offer and it had a lot to do with the power of networking though LinkedIn.  I kept running this great group as i felt so connected to everyone I couldn't keep this great thing going, we set the standard agenda which we use every meeting and we encouraged members to each take a turn leading the meeting for a week....14 months later here we are opening up our 17th location in Cranford Library...

Today we went over 500 active members and 92 success stories....these numbers are even more amazing when you realize we had only one location, River Edge for the first 6 months...we opened our second on June 22nd 2011..

Here is a list of our locations, and please tell anyone you know who needs a job, wants to make a job change, has recently graduated, is a stuggling small business, or a person returning to the work force about us.

River Edge Library - Thursdays at 7pm;

Bergenfield Library - Tuesdays at 7pm; 

Hawthorne Library - Tuesdays at 7pm;

Westwood Library – Mondays at 7pm;

Ridgewood Library – Thursdays at 7pm;   

Waldwick – Mondays at 7pm;    (meeting in St Luke’s rectory temporarily)

Mendham Township Library – Mondays at 6:30pm;

Englewood Library – Mondays at 7pm;

Mahwah Library –Thursdays at 7pm:

Maplewood Library – Wednesdays at 7pm (except every 4^th Wed.)

Cedar Grove Library – Thursdays at 6:30pm

Fair Lawn Library – Mondays at 7pm

Ringwood Library – Tuesdays at 10:30am.

Oakland Library – Thursdays at 10:30am.

Emerson Library – Tuesdays at 7pm.

Oradell Library – Tuesday every other week at 1:00pm

Cranford Library – Wednesdays at 7pm beginning April 25^th

Hasbrouck Heights – Mondays at 1pm beginning April 30th

 We need volunteers to help facilitate our meetings please contact me if you are interested.

We are rapidly expanding and offering many opportunities for support and networking. We have undertaken a business outreach to meet with local business groups to expand our  networking capability, and a college outreach effort to recruit recent grads to offer one on one mentoring with our some of our members.. We have    an open LinkedIn group Neighbors-helping-Neighbors USA, and  a facebook group.
