Bunny Spreads Hoppiness Through Cranford
The event was meant to provide a bit of 'normalcy' to kids amid coronavirus, Mayor Giblin had said.
CRANFORD, NJ — Two Easter bunnies took a long ride on the bunny trail through Cranford on Saturday morning to bring Easter joy to children.
The Chamber of Commerce, one of the sponsors of the event, posted the rabbit's route on Friday, and families kept tabs via Virtual Cranford.
Mayor Patrick Giblin said on Friday that the event was meant to bring "normalcy" to children, who are home from school amid coronavirus. He also reminded families to maintain social distancing and not allow children to run up to the street.
