CDC Theatre Honored For Centennial Tuesday

The Cranford Township Committee will be recognizing the Cranford Dramatic Club's 100 years.

CRANFORD, NJ - A centennial of dramatic arts will be recognized at the Cranford Township Committee meeting Tuesday. According to officials, Mayor Thomas Hannen Jr. will be honoring the theatre during his mayoral announcements.

The Cranford Dramatic Club's 100th anniversary season has a slate that includes "A Few Good Men" in October, "Seussical" in December, "Mamma Mia" in February and "Newsies" in May.

Also on the schedule for Tuesday is the honoring of Eagle Scouts Sean Weichert and Robert McNamara.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. in Council Chambers in Cranford Town Hall at 8 Springfield Ave. The meeting is open to the public and there is time set aside in each meeting for public commentary.
