Children's Author Holds Book Signing in Cranford

On Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. beloved children’s author Laura Sassi will hold a book signing at the Jardine Academy. The Jardine Academy is a private school located at 75 Rod Smith Place, in Cranford, N.J. It provides elementary and secondary education for children with developmental disabilities.

Laura’s poems, stories, articles and crafts have appeared in many publications including Highlights for Children, Cricket, Ladybug, Spider, Focus on the Family’s Clubhouse and Clubhouse Jr., FamilyFun and Pack-O-Fun. She has a passion for playing with words and is delighted to announce her first picture book, “Goodnight, Ark” published by Zonderkidz, a HarperCollins Company, and illustrated by Jane Chapman.

Laura writes from her century-old home in New Jersey where she lives with her husband, two children and cockapoo named Sohpie. In the future, she plans to release her second picture book entitled, “Goodnight, Manger”.
