Cocaine Arrest On Centennial Avenue: Cranford Police
Luis Green was arrested after a motor vehicle violation, police said.
CRANFORD, NJ - A 55-year-old Irvington man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop on March 24, according to the Cranford Police Department.
According to authorities, Patrolman Jason D'Agostino stopped a 2017 Toyota on Centennial Avenue and Hillside Avenue for idling on a crosswalk in the middle of an intersection. Following an investigation on scene, D’Agostino arrested the driver, Luis Green, for suspected cocaine found in his possession, police said. He was processed and provided with a Superior Court appearance date.
In addition, Green was issued motor vehicle summonses for careless driving, suspended driver, unlicensed driver and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, police said.
