Construction To Impact Walnut Avenue School Student Pickup
On Oct. 24 the southbound lane of Walnut Avenue, between Temple Beth-El Mekor Chayim and Chester Lang Place will be closed for paving work

CRANFORD, NJ — Parents picking up their students at Walnut Avenue School need to plan an alternate route as a portion of the road will be milled and paved on Monday.
On Oct. 24 the southbound lane of Walnut Avenue, between Temple Beth-El Mekor Chayim and Chester Lang Place will be closed at 8:45 a.m. for construction work.
The project is expected to be completed by end of day Monday. A county-approved detour will be in place to direct motorists around the work zone and police officers will be on scene to assist with traffic control.

"Although the northbound lane of Walnut Avenue will be open throughout the project, we recommend parents who are picking up their children from Walnut Avenue School, use Denman Road as an access way," Cranford Police announced. "This will alleviate some of the congestion in and around the school zone. Thank you in advance for your patience while we complete this project."
