Cougars' Girls Hoops Impresses in 61-45 Win Over Bridgewater-Raritan
Cranford dominated from the opening whistle with a 61-45 victory over Bridgewater-Raritan
The Cougars’ girls basketball team rolled to an easy 61-45 victory over a solid Bridgewater-Raritan squad to extend their record to eight and one. Cranford continues to impress early in the season with solid team play and a disciplined offensive attack.
Senior guard Morgan Miller turned in an incredibly impressive and efficient effort to lead her squad to the easy victory. Miller turned in a 19-point effort to lead all scorers. She also added three rebounds, three assists, a block and a steal.
Miller did all of this in less then three quarters of action as she found herself with four fouls midway through the third quarter. The unselfish play of Miller sets the tone for this group, who also seem more than willing to make the extra pass to set up one of their teammates.
