Cranford Collecting Items For Puerto Rico

Cranford Police, Fire and DPW are hosting a Relief Drive for Puerto Rico. Items can be dropped off until Oct. 10 at noon.

CRANFORD, NJ — The Cranford Police Department, Cranford Fire Department, and Cranford Department of Public Works are hosting a Relief Drive for Puerto Rico.

They are collecting needed supplies to be sent to citizens in Puerto Rico due to the recent hurricane.

  • Baby food
  • Batteries
  • Box fans
  • Canned goods
  • Cots
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Diapers
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • High capacity generators to restore power for hospitals, water service, flood pumps
  • Flash lights
  • Flood pumps
  • Hand sanitizer
  • First aid items
  • Leather work gloves
  • New underwear and socks
  • New bed pillows and blankets
  • Tolietries
  • Utility knives

Items can be dropped off until Oct. 10 at noon. Drop off locations are the Cranford Fire Department, 7 Springfield Ave. and Cranford Community Center, 220 Walnut Ave.
