Cranford Commits To Collective Bargaining Agreement
FMBA Local 37 and 237 signed on the dotted line last week.
CRANFORD, NJ - Cranford Township and the FMBA Local 37 and 237 have come to terms with a new collective bargaining agreement, according to Cranford Mayor Patrick Giblin.
Joined by Firefighter Joseph Kopf and Battalion Chief Brian Ingraham, Giblin signed the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Township of Cranford and Cranford FMBA Locals 37 and 237.
A collective bargaining agreement is a contract between an employer and a union representing employees. A CBA is generally signed after a negotiation process that covers topics like wages, hours, safety and employment conditions.
