Cranford Cops Lose A Tire, Gain A Wall Trophy
Officers noticed as loss in pressure, but were unprepared for what the reason was.

CRANFORD, NJ - A patrol unit needed a pit stop after a bad break on the road as an unsual item lodged in the wheel of a squad car was causing an unexpected loss in tire pressure.
According to authorities, after experiencing the loss of pressure the unit was able to get to the police garage where the mechanic discovered the cause. As noted in the picture above, this horseshoe shaped spike was firmly lodged in the sidewall.
"We’ve seen lots of tires with nails and screws in them over the years, but this one was unique," police posted to social media.
