Cranford First Aid Squad Showcases 'Girl Power'

CRANFORD, NJ - Last Monday the Cranford First Aid Squad's night crew was staffed with all women, and the department took to social media to tout what they called "Girl Power."

"Girl Power: The whole Monday night crew was staffed with female providers from the driver to the interim crew chief," the CFAS posted to social media. "Strong work all."

Resident Kent Lucas Cranford First Aid Squad posted to social media declaring the world needs more women in charge.

"CFAS is leading the way," he said.

Peppering her response with strong arm emojis and claps Jessica Harring also approved of the staffing.

"Get it, girls," she wrote.

The Cranford First Aid Squad is staffed entirely by volunteers from Cranford and surrounding townships. Their have volunteers that provide emergency services as well as administrative volunteers who contribute to fundraising, education and public awareness. The squad is always looking for more volunteer support. No experience is If you have ever wondered what it is like to work on an ambulance, to be in the field of medicine or help out the community we would love you to join us. Apply today! No experience is necessary! Anyone from age 16 is eligible and no experience is necessary. Anyone interested can fill out the form on the squad website.
