Cranford Girl Wins Police Logo Contest; Order Shirt For Charity
You can order a shirt with the winning design and help needy Cranford families. They must be ordered by Sept. 21.
CRANFORD, NJ — Ella Seeto of Cranford has won the Police Department's Logo Contest, open to kids age 7-17 this summer, according to the police.
Cranford officers had been polled to ask which words represented the tradition and history of the organization. The words “community, honor and integrity” had to be part of the designs.
Ella’s blue and gold design included the three words along with the “Cranford cougar paw," hearts, Cranford’s zip code, and a togetherness-inspired illustration of the people in the community.

Ella’s artwork was provided to Cougar Headquarters where Donna Marino and her staff collaborated to incorporate this design on a t-shirt.
Once the t-shirt was created, Cougar Headquarters established a designated “online store” so residents may conveniently purchase their own t-shirts with Ella’s designed logo.
