Cranford Local Among 3 Arrested For Drug Possession In Clark
Clark Police reported making multiple arrests for drug possession, shoplifting,forgery and more.

CLARK, NJ — A Cranford local was among three arrested for drug possession in Clark.
On June 26 at 4:37 a.m., in the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Andrew Movchan, 19, of Cranford for possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS). Sgt. Christopher Tuccio was the arresting officer.

On June 25 at 12:52 p.m.: Police took a report of a theft of a package from the porch of a residence on Sweet Briar Drive. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Ted McKeown was the investigating officer.
On June 25 at 5:48 p.m.: Police took a report of criminal mischief to a residence on Fairview Road. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Michael Somma was the investigating officer.

On June 26 at 4:51 p.m.: In the vicinity of Raritan Road, police arrested Kareem Pierre, 23, of Elizabeth for receiving stolen property. He was also detained on outstanding warrants, totaling $1,000, from Linden and Elizabeth for contempt of court. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Detective Michael Ciaccio was the arresting officer.
On June 26 at 6:37 p.m.: At 142 Central Ave., police arrested Dennis Manning, 28, of East Orange for forgery and fraud. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Pedro Oliveira was the arresting officer.
On June 29 at 12:44 a.m.: In the vicinity of Valley Road, police arrested Nijee James, 26, of Linden for possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Joshua Weber was the arresting officer.
On June 29 at 12:23 p.m.: Police arrested Michael Mitchell, 57, of Newark for shoplifting from the Wine Anthology Store at 1075 Raritan Rd. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Detective Brian Pereira was the arresting officer.
On June 30 at 2:38 a.m.: In the vicinity of Westfield and Brant Avenues, police arrested Cathy Victor, 33,
of Rahway for CDS possession. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Detective Bruce McDonald was the arresting officer.
On June 30 at 8 a.m.: In the vicinity of Central Avenue, police arrested Jiovanni Castro, 40, of Perth Amboy on an outstanding warrant from the Union County Sheriff’s Department for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the Union County Sheriff’s Department. Police Officer Alex Yanes was the arresting officer.
