Cranford Man Drove Drunk, Fled Accident Scene: Cops

Donald Stiles was charged with driving while intoxicated, police said.

CRANFORD, NJ - A 44-year-old Cranford man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle accident on Feb. 22, according to the Cranford Police Department.

According to authorities, Patrolman Ali Muhammad was dispatched to Centennial Avenue and Cayuga Road for a motor vehicle crash. Following an investigation at the scene, Muhammad arrested one of the drivers, Donald Stiles, for driving while intoxicated, police said.

Stiles was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date. In addition, he was issued motor vehicle summons for leaving the scene of a crash and careless driving, police said.
