A Cranford mom and a local legislator are speaking out to push for GPS tracking on buses for special needs students.
CRANFORD, NJ — After a pause during COVID, Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick and Cranford parent Jenn Love are again raising awareness for legislation to make school buses safer for students with special needs, in part with GPS tracking.
Bill A-2027, Emma's law, was introduced by Bramnick and named after Love’s teenage daughter Emma.
It would ensure that buses for special needs students are equipped with a GPS and other equipment to help keep students safe.
