Cranford Nursing Home Resident Tries To Sneak Out, Falls From Roof: Police
A nursing home resident in Cranford was hospitalized after he allegedly tried to climb down a tree and leave on Wednesday, police report.

CRANFORD, NJ — A nursing home resident in Cranford was hospitalized after he allegedly tried to climb down a tree and leave without the staff's knowledge on Wednesday, police report.
A 60-year-old man was found to have fallen from a second floor flat roof of the Cranford Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at 600 Lincoln Park E in Cranford on May 3, Cranford Police Sgt. Ryan J. Greco told Patch.
Staff members described the man as trying to climb down a tree when he fell around 6:21 p.m.

The victim sustained a head injury, and was ultimately airlifted to an area hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
The man was a new resident of the facility.
