Cranford Offering Private Buses If N.J. Transit Workers Strike
The town of Cranford has made arrangements with Villani Bus Co to provide transportation to NYC in the event of a NJ Transit Rail strike.

The town of Cranford has made arrangements with Villani Bus Co to provide transportation to NYC in the event of a NJ Transit Rail strike.
Cranford residents will be given priority seating on a first come, first serve basis, the town announced on Facebook.

Residents are asked to proof of residency with a valid photo I.D.
The buses will run Monday through Friday (except holidays) until NJ Transit rail service is restored.

Morning Staging:
Starting at 5:30 a.m. on North Avenue East.
Departure time is 6:30 a.m. to 34th Street between 7th and 8th avenues in New York City.
Cost will be $25. Pay in cash and exact change only.
Evening Staging:
Starting at 6:30 p.m. near 34th Street between 7th and 8th avenues. Look for "Cranford" on buses.
Buses will leave promptly at 6:30 p.m. to Cranford.
Residents must secure a return ticket, they cannot board the bus without it.
Once Township of Cranford residents have boarded, out-of-town commuters will be accommodated.
