Cranford Primary 2018: Who's On The Ballot, Where To Vote
Tuesday, June 5 is primary day. Here's a list of who is running and where to vote in Cranford.

CRANFORD, NJ — On Tuesday, voters will be heading to the polls to cast their ballots in the primary election. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Locally, in Cranford there are no contested races with one Democrat and one Republic vying for the one three-year township committee seat.
Candidates are Democrat Thomas H. Hannen, Jr. of 94 Belmont Ave. and Republican Michael Petrucci, 437 Brookside Pl.

On the county level, there is a contested race for Democrats with six running for the three three-year Board of Freeholder seats.
Democratic candidates include: Alexander Mirabella of 11 Tillotson Rd., Fanwood; Andrea F. Staten of 223 Victory St., Roselle; Kimberly Mouded, 490 Otisco Dr., Westfield; Alex Lospinoso of 119 Livingston Rd., Linden; Patrick Gargano of 500 Fairway Rd., Linden; and Kaiby Sandoval of 200 N. Park Ave., Linden.

There is no contested race for the Republicans with three running for the three seats. Candidates include: Patricia Quattrocchi of 233 Lexington Blvd., Apt 9, Clark; Joseph R. Sarno III of 658 Willow Ave., 1st Fl, Garwood; and Peter G. Kane of 3 Iris Rd., Summit.
On the congressional level there is a contested race for the 7th Congressional District seat.
The two-year term seat is currently held by Leonard Lance, who has held the seat since 2009. District 7 covers all of Hunterdon County, and parts of Essex, Morris, Somerset, Union, and Warren counties.
Republican challengers this year include:
- Raafat Barsoom of Annadale
- Lindsay C. Brown of Clark
The Democratic race is also contested with three candidates vying for the seat including:
- Tom Malinowski of Rocky Hill
- Peter Jacob of Pluckemin
- Goutam Jois of Summit

- District 2, 10, 25, 29: Walnut Avenue School, 370 Walnut Ave., Auditorium/Gym
- District 3, 7, 26: Municipal Building, 8 Springfield Ave.
- District 4, 14, 15: Livingston Avenue School, 75 Livingston Ave., Auditorium/Gym
- District 5, 6, 21: Lincoln School, 132 Thomas St. (use Lincoln Ave. entrance), Auditorium/Gym
- District 8, 12, 30: Bloomingdale Avenue School, 200 Bloomingdale Ave., Auditorium/Gym
- District 9, 18, 20, 28: Orange Avenue School, 901 Orange Ave., Girl's Gym
- District 11, 28: Hillside Avenue School, 125 Hillside Ave., Room 49
- District 16, 23: Cranford High School, 201 West End Pl., Lower Gym
- District 17, 19, 22, 24: Brookside Place School, 700 Brookside Pl., Auditorium/Gym
