Cranford Residents May Need To Open Homes To Checks: See Why
More than 130 addresses are set to be included.
CRANFORD, NJ — Over the next few weeks, consultants may need to enter homes as they perform 136 test hole sites for water lines around the community, the Township of Cranford said.
Con Quest, Inc. will be performing evaluations of different water service materials as part of New Jersey American Water's Lead Service Line Replacement Program.
The research will help identify utility and customer side needs so any lead or galvanized lines can be replaced by 2031 as is required under state and federal law.
